Corporations – Developing Cultural Competency: American Muslims in the Workplace

Developing Cultural Competency: American Muslims in the Workplace

“Employee morale and employee retention are most affected by having a workplace that provides religious accommodation for its employees.”
- Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)

Introducing a new series of professional development seminars for corporations committed to diversity.

Description

This seminar begins with a conversation about common stereotypes and other barriers faced by Muslims in the workplace citing Equal Employment Opportunity Commission reports and other experiences in a post 9/11 workplace environment.
